The Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) has advised of changes to NDSS co-payment funding arrangements effective 1 July 2023 for people living with diabetes who have a DVA White Card.
This change does not affect DVA Gold and DVA Pension card holders.
From 1 July 2023, DVA will not fund the co-payment for a White Card holder who does not have a DVA-accepted condition of diabetes.
DVA has advised affected NDSS registrants during recent weeks that they will need to self-fund the co-payment at their local community pharmacy when they pick up their NDSS products.
